Hi guys I need to find an independent Porsche inspector in the Ni area as I'm looking at buying a 930 turbo from woods 911, can anyone give me any names ?

That's a pretty specific car and no doubt worth a fair amount of money. For the price of a flight I would highly recommend inspecting it yourself and letting the local R27 guys know of your visit and perhaps we could arrange pickup from airport and courtesy shuttle service?

I will ask amongst the local members for someone with experience of these cars for assistance and come back to you.

Hi david and thanks for you reply to my post, I bought my first air cooled 911 from woods 911 in november last year and was shocked to find when i got it back to the uk and pulled it from storage that the car needed literally thousands spending on it to get it to where the car needed to be value wise, after a heated discussion with ciaran woods he said he would take the car back and sell it for us but mentioned this 930 turbo that he would do a deal on, we had our reservations but agreed to have a look at it providing the car could be inspected. The inspection has been carried out by george mcmillan who came highly recommended by ken mack the irish rep for pcgb, basically the car is yet again in nedd of some serious work and in no way worth the £50,000 price tag. We believe ciaran woods to be nothing but a chancer and con man selling dangerous and un road worthy cars for unrealistic figures. if anyone would like more information regarding woods 911 please contact me.
My hope is that we can warn as many people about this guy as possible

Have heard enough over the last year or so .... which would make me say .... be very careful !
Someone local like George McMillen could do a good inspection for you

Hi cortina, i had george check the car out and there were several major issues with the car, Just adding more confirmation to the rumours about woods 911, cairan woods is nothing but a con man.
