This is probably the most effective but difficult if you don't have a garage or its an only car, both of which are true in my case.. EddORIGINAL: pauly Leave mine in the garage unless it's a nice day [].

Yes I've seen him before although never used his products they look very good, I wonder how effective the electronic rust system is. EddORIGINAL: pauljmcnulty The guy at Frontrunner on Saturday had some very interesting thoughts on corrosion protection. His treatment did look good, I'm going to use it myself.
What you said in your first post, I'd go easy with the pressure washer underneath though.ORIGINAL: Copperman05This is probably the most effective but difficult if you don't have a garage or its an only car, both of which are true in my case.. Well I've just ordered one up. I have to say it looks too good to be true but club members have seen this guy before and the reviews look excellent, especially the the ones from caravan owners. The results are extraordinary! Anything that reduces the onset of fresh rust by 80% and stabilises existing rust by the same factor AND doesn't require tedious, repetitive manual labour to apply has got to be a winner! I will review the product in ten years time!! StuartORIGINAL: Copperman05 I wonder how effective the electronic rust system is. Edd

Well I'm just off the phone to Dennis at rust shop about this very thing. Cat 3 is very new and seems to work very well and as claimed. Dennis will shortly be putting a video up on you tube to demonstrate this and his corrosion block product. He also sorted me out with a 10% club discount. The guy is passionate about what he does and is currently planning a few visits to OPC's to demonstrate his products. The testimonials on his site look to show excellent results. Take a look for yourself. However I understand we are a nation full of sceptics who can quite often be happy to write something off as too good to be true without actually having a proper look at what it does and how it does it and also look at the evidence to support the claims! Anyway, I'm giving it a bash. NB. Dennis says using cat 3 and corrosion block in the vulnerable areas is the way to go for maximum protection. Cheers StuartORIGINAL: zcacogp The electronic anti-rust thing isn't new, I remember them from many years ago. (I also remember one utterly failing to work on a friend's slightly rusty MG Metro, as it disintegrated within a couple of years.) I wonder whether there is anything new about the one linked to. Oli.
