Though I would put this on here to see if any 928 owner would like a project for the winter.
I am listing this for my late friend‘s wife as sadly its not going to get finished

This car was going to be one of the best early 928 when completed and the owner had been restoring it for around 5 years. He was a motorsport engineer and used a 928 as a daily as well so knew these cars very well.

In short the bodywork has been stripped back to bare metal, and had a glass out respray at great expense by professional body shop with Aston & Ferrari race car experience.

The mechanicals have been overhauled, replaced or reconditioned at great expense.
There is a full list of whats been replaced with receipts and of course photos during the build.

The main item now left if to re trim the interior and finish off the build.

The amount spent on this project so far is circa £27K +

Realistically we know we are unlikely to get this amount of money back but it needs a new home.

Try to help his wife sort this out hence the post.
If genuinely interested please feel free to message me with any questions etc.
Will try and get a few more pics in the meantime.
Car is in Northamptonshire.

Many thanks
