Found out why I could not get the new scraper seals to fit --- the flat section which locates into the door clips is 3-4mm shorter in height than the origionals , the new ones are supposed to be porsche parts !
guess where they are going.?

HI Nick

I got mine from OPC and they fitted fine......I did have the door cards off so it is easy so see if the seal has located correctly

the ones I bought are Porsche Items from a reputable supplier so I think it is a manufacturing issue,I am going to go to my local OPC with my old one and see If the ones they have are the same.I had the door cards off and not too difficult job but just not correct size.old ones go straight back on ok just cracking a bit now.
Will post outcome.

As supplier of these seals I was totally baffled when Nick called me yesterday, I have been selling these German seals for over 20 years without a problem, I of course offered Nick a full refund.
Have spoken to my supplier who was equally baffled, he has never had any of these seals returned, will wait and see how Nick gets on with main dealer
