window micro switch drivers side

Thanks for all the help regarding access to boot with central locking dead due to battery, and driver door handle not releasing to access bonnet latch.

Got into car charged battery, open drivers door form inside - removed drivers door panel to gain access to back of door lever to discover plastic/nylon female sleeve had come apart from a threaded rod on back of door lever. Very simple exercise of dexterity to reassemble. Is this a problem of a worn part???? or a known issue??? door now opens perfectly fine. Next issue is window does not rise into door seal when closing, any ideas please ??? presume very simply could be a microswitch but if there a re quick fixes/tests/diagnostics would be appreciated. You might think car is a problem, but in 30 K miles of ownership several trips abroad inc N ring car is perfect. car currently has 63 K on clock so just a youngster.

[/size]Glad you are back in the car [][/size] If you mean they go up and down but don't get to the right end point automatically, then I think that bit is on the manual (it is in mine...)
