window deflectors??

anyone know of any where that do the plastic window deflectors to fit a 944?for anyone who dont know what im on about.
they are smoke or clear plastic deflectors that clip in to the window chanells so you can have your window down and not get blown away by the wind etc.
am after some for my 944

Not sure where you find any, as far as I'm aware Porsche never made them, so it would have to be aftermarket, I know Alfa used to make them for their cars, but never seen anyone make them for Porka's

You used to see them all the time, stopped your fag ash blowing back in to the car. I don't think they were ever dealer options on cars, more an aftermarket thing sold by the likes of Halfords, or whatever the 70's/80's equivalent was.

Could this be the rarest thing ever fitted to a 944? I'm guessing the current top three are, in reverse order:

Factory tow bar

Roof Rails

Saratoga clear sunroof panel. [8|]

Your best bet now is probably a person importing the few 968s left in Japan into this country (although at the current exchange rate there cant be a deal in it - I used to get ¥245 to £1, but its something like ¥145 to £1 now!).

Every car that I have imported from Japan has had deflectors fitted and every 968 that I viewed at auction had them too.

Yay! I have (and use) two out of three, just need to find that sunroof panel!

I suppose Saratoga sunroofs have not been available for years. Glass parts were made by LOF, Libby-Owens-Ford, now owned by Pilkington. It's possible Pilkington can still deliver glass, frame can be manufatured by a handy Porsche owner.
