Which Tyres Cayman R Road Use.?

OZ ultraleggera are a good wheel for it and don't look too dissimilar to originals
I think OP is looking for tyres not rims? If so I can recommend Michelin Pilot Super Sports, which have asymmetric compound so outside edge can handle a little track work.
Des,
I am running Michelin PSS and they are way better than the standard (on 981 though) Pirelli and Bridgestones. Not N rated if that matters to you.

I'm running PSS on my R and I have to say that they're fantastic. I couldn't say if they're 'the best' but I'd certainly not feel short changed if I got them again
I'm also running MPSS in my CR. Great all rounder for road and light track use.
I have a new set of Michelin Cup 2's for my spare set of track day wheels. I'll report on these at a later date following the Silverstone track day on 25th October.
Should be interesting to see how the Cup 2's perform on the CR.

And you still couldn't catch meMrDemon said:Cup 2's demand an aggressive geo.
I have run all N spec tyres, and PSS beats all them all with out issue PS2 being the best N spec tyre.
I also run cup 2's on my other car with more aggressive geo set up
Hi Mr D, my CR geo is set for track day preferences to suit my driving style, albeit within the limitations of the standard mountings and components. I could do with more negative camber on the front, but as yet I have not gone down that particular road.
I ran Toyo Proxes R888 for my sprint motor sport events and my geo settings worked fine with those tyres.
I'll report back on my experiences with the Cup 2's after the Silverstone event. Last year I used MPSS for the Michelin Challenge at Silverstone, they performed well enough for me get second place in the Challenge. With the Cup 2's, I'll have a direct comparison on the same circuit. So long as it is dry like last time.
Should be interesting...
