Which radio

hi guys,
Sorry for asking a dumb question but can't seem to find a consistent answer.

My UK spec 1989 944turbo came with an unwired blaupunkt Melbourne sqr 39 radio. The Porsche document I received states that a "high fidelity package (8 speaker system with amp" was factory installed. My question is - would the Melbourne radio be correct for this spec? I have heard that the Blaupunkt Freiburg or Barcelona or Paris were correct!!!
Many assistance would be much appreciated.
