Where to buy Castrol SRF?

Anyone know where I can buy castrol SRF brake fluid in/around Glasgow? I would mail order it, but not sure quite how much I require, so would prefer a local supply.

i think you can only buy it in one size.

Therefore, mailorder makes sense, try demon tweaks

Cheers

Tim - the reason I want to buy local is that I'm not sure exactly how much I need - I need "around" 1L - so would ideally only want 1 bottle, but would like the ability to source a 2nd bottle just in case - but don't want to buy it unless absolutely necessary as I definitely treat brake fluid as a "perishable" item and wouldn't want some which had been in my damp garage for a year.

Mike - can scott source new, or is this some he has kicking around in his garage?

Might I ask why you are looking to use Castrol SRF? It is spectacularly expensive in comparison with other fluids.

That said, if it works it may be worth the money.

So far I have tried EBC Racing Fluid, which was OK, from memory. I used AP Racing 551 which was no good at all and required bleeding twice on a track day. I currently have ATE Blue, which isn't exacly cheap but has been well recommended. I haven't tried this on a track day yet so don't know what its realy like under stress.

I used Castrol SRF in my racing Westfield, in the days when choice was based on "...it must be the best 'cos it's the most expensive!" It never let me down, but I have always assumed that was down to stopping a light car.

I would be very interested to hear of others experiences with this fluid as, I hate taking off wheels, and don't want to do any more bleeding at track days.

John, I asked the question here:
http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=93063

I've also had real problems with total loss of brakes on track before, which was not a nice experience, so if this helps prevent that even in the slightest then I'm all for it.

SRF works
It does what it says on the tin.

Scott , you should auction your remaining 2Lt. Looks like me Greig and John could make you a rich man !!!!

Euro Car parts will do ATE super blue for about £10 a litre. Its not quite got the spec that SRF has but its a good fluid. never the less.
