Have any of you folks purchased replacement wheel nuts from Design 911 recently? If so, have you experienced any problems?
Check out the thread on the 993 forum?

Design911 replaced the offending wheel nuts with genuine Porsche ones.

Can't say I've ever thought about changing the wheel nuts. Yes...mine look a bit shabby because they are 19 years old but nobody notices them when driving fast [8D]. I guess changing the nuts because they don't look pretty is a 993 thing....too much polishing and not enough driving in case it affects the value! [:-]

Whilst it may appear pretty anal, anything with an inherant safety value for me goes genuine Porsche.......it is simply not worth the agravation later, and yes I know and understand that many nuts and bolts are equivelant.
