Wheel Nut Spec?

Possibly a stupid question . . . but how do I un-ambiguously describe the specification of wheel nut I need for my 1987 2.5 Lux with '928' style cast alloys?

I'm having the wheels re-furbed (and finished in a darker colour - sorry purists!) whilst I'm on holiday next month (car can sit in my garage on axle stands). Whilst I'm at it, might as well put new nuts and locking nuts on, but am unclear exactly what to order . . .
 
Unfortunately theres still a raft of ambiguity... [:D] Id buy new OEM alloy wheel nuts - used are usually just as knackered as the ones you already have. These will suit all OEM Porsche wheels (the 928 had many different sizes and styles). For competition you should use steel nuts, but I wasnt ever checked and people who currently compete tell me that they havent been checked either.

Id only use MsGard locking wheel nuts: the originals and similar replacements were pretty rubbish.

All need to be M14 with a ball radius bottom, as all Porsche wheels need this spec
 
Be aware that as locking nuts aren't alloy they can affect wheel balance significantly. Took mine off to cure major wobble - 90% improved the problem.

Most decent lockers are alloy and the same weight as the standard nut

There is conjecture that offsetting the heavier nut diametrically opposed to the tyre valve lessens this. No proof myself but I always do it out of habit.
