Not being over-endowed with mechanical skills I decided to start with a small job on my 924S. The wheel centres from the teledials. They were looking a bit corroded (as do the wheels) and I thought I'd give them the once over. So I rubbed them down with some P600 paper to get rid of any old laquer and to grind through most of the Aluminium dust. This was followed by a bit of masking with tape and then spraying black into the depressed parts of the crest. Final coats of wheel laquer will be after another go with the P600.
One problem. One of the centres was held in place with silicone! So now I have to decide on whether to stick it back in the same way (its been there successfully for 8 years!) or to try to get a replacement, unless anyone has any ideas?
