What is a used catalytic converter worth?

Baring in mind it will have done a lot of miles and could easily fail on the new owner, it has to be a cheap get me past my mot option for someone id say.
Maybe e bay starting price what you could get for scrap plus fees etc and let the buyers decide.

Oh I dunno, I suppose there's an outside chance that there may be a 944 owner who cares about puppies, ickle fluffy bunnies and global warming sorry I meant "climate change", * doh *, "climate instability" - see, got it right in the end.

but with the cat you create more CO2 and isn't that what some say is changing the climate - others say the concentrations change naturally with natural temp variations
