Hi Folks,
It's been so quiet in here, I thought I should make a post !

Must be that irish virus thats doing the rounds, or mabye everyone is too busy standing outside smoking ?

Are there any upcoming get-togethers, or is it now into the christmas season for parties, etc ?

Declan

Hi Declan, yes it is quiet isn't it!

Don't know about everyone else but at this late stage it's hard to see anything else on the horizon except Christmas.

What're you driving, ever get down Mayo direction?

I am sure that your R.O will be busy planning for the 2005 Calendar and your input for next year will be most welcome.
Why not give him a call and offer your help, or better still offer to arrange something for next year.
Kind regards and early Seasons Greetings

Hi folks,
I dont actually own a Porsche of any description.
(I did have a nice black GT3RS with the UPS livery, but that was only a 1/24th scale model !!!)

I'm still on the lookout for a nice Classic '74/75 Coupe, but am waiting to get the roof on my garage first ! .. bit of a catch-22, either buy a 911, or roof the garage where I would keep it !

John : Mayo ? .. actually my father is from Charlestown !

Cheers,
Declan

Good luck with the car hunting!

I think we've raised activity on the R27 forum by 50%[:)]

Hi John, good to see your still around. Just thought i'd increase the thread.....this regional forum has always been very quite.

Hi Sean, how's your orange friend!

That wasn't you that was advertising a car for sale in the Irish Times recently was it?

I see Terry Jackson is advertising himself as something of a classic Porsche specialist these days, I thought he was Merc only.

Hi again,
So there is life in Region 27 !

The only Porsches I've seen lately are a 2 944's in Donegal, and a couple of 911's in a showroom in Summerhill in Meath.

I'm always amazed when I'm in Belfast at the number of 993 and 996's there, and a lot of Boxsters. - Surprised there is not more activity in this forum.

Cheers,
Declan

just thought I'd say hello [:D]
recently became the proud owner of an 01 Boxster - Porsche really do make lovely machines [:)]

haven't seen any other Porsches in the west recently [:(] do they get garaged for the winter or what?

One more for the register. Me and my 944S2 have just arrived from the UK (just over a week now!). Settling into the Irish way of things very quickly!

Hi Greg & Mik

Just to add, I spotted a nice blue '98 911 in Letterkenny today. Was funny to all the passers-by staring at it in disbelief !!

So there are some outside the cities !

Cheers,
Declan
