Meany years ago I have a 944 lux and I remember getting my racing bike in it front wheel out! Know days I ride a 29" wheeled mountin bike has any one managed to fit one in? Or bigger?:)

My road bike fits into my 968 intact. Front wheel on. Passenger seat fold forward.

My mtb is simply too dirty to put in the car after a ride. Hence never tried ! Let us know.

Not tried my 29er, but can get my full suspension stumpjumper in ok.

Or, if you remove 1 wheel you can fit a child in there too. Zip tie them to the roll cage for added safety:

I turned it round and took the steering wheel off it and closed the hatch and delivered it back to the owner, but didn't take any pics like that.......

I did once put two mountain bikes in the back of the car. Admittedly both wheels came off each of the bikes in addition to the pedals on one of the bikes.

Many moons ago when I had my first Lux (square dash), fewer kids and more hair, I managed 2 guitar cases, a marshall 4x12 cab and a 4u rackmount effects case and still had room for the singer in the passenger seat [:)] Unfortuantely mobiles were the size of breeze blocks and cost as much as a 2 bed terraced house in Rochdale so no pics I'm afraid.

Last year I took my TT bike to a Triathlon in Northampton in the back of the Turbo. As I was setting the bike up in the car park, one passerby exclaimed " You'll never get that back in there....".

I just nonchantly replied... " Well it came out so I know it'll go back in again.... !

So I guess from this I could possibly fit my full sus 29" in but will have to concider when muddy which it is a lot how to keep the car clean?

Saw a pic of a 944 bonnet in the back of a 944, not sure how easy that was to get in and then out without scratching anything.

My record I think was a 200mile journey with... two people, two German Shepherds, (one of which weighed eight stone), a full-sized suitcase containing enough "stuff" to keep two people going for a week, the dog food/bowls, etc, etc, and a double mattress. That was in the days before I had a towbar and roof-rack.

As I've only had mine since November I've not put anything in it, oh, apart from a fleece in case the heating breaks..... But now I've learnt the system defaults to hot I've removed that! [:)]
