We had a nice afternoon out on Sunday. It started off very muggy and cold and Julian was pleasantly surprised at the number of us that turned up at the Grandstand.
Ian and Shelagh still had the roof down on the Boxster though!
First stop was Murrays Motorcycle Museum, which used to be up on the Mountain, but has now moved to Santon. It is hidden away and takes you by surprise how big it is.
Peter Murray was there to give us lots of background on the exhibits, as well as TT racing history, which made it all the more interesting.
Some great bikes there and loads of photos and memorabilia.
This Morris pickup was tucked away in there too.
Then we went on to the Cosy Nook Cafe on Port Erin beach. Great little cafe where we had tea cakes and pots of tea and coffee. The weather had improved drastically too so we found an outside table to enjoy the view.
A very rare photo here...... this is Ian's Boxster again, but this time with its
roof up! I think I may be the only person to have ever managed to photograph it looking like this. I'm sure I'll get some sort of award. [

Thanks to Julian for organising this nice Sunday afternoon out.
