water pipe part no differences

I need to replace this part on mine as one of the pipes is almost corroded through. That bit is very hard to find it seems, NLA from Porsche. I've found this 95110605605
but I believe mine should be 95110605608. Visually they look identical, anyone know if there is any difference?
Incredibly it seems to be about the only part not given a part no on PET. Section 105-10 shows it but no number..
ETA - no part no on the 89 on list but it is on the pre 89 list. Odd

Same part, ending 08 usually means it is a superseded part, made at a later date than the 05 part. Part will be the same dimensions and fitment. I see this incremental part numbering quite a lot when looking for parts.

Cheers Stuart. It's a lot for a bit of t metal tube but I'm waiting on OEM but without much hope or it will be squillions.

They dont supersede 05 is up to engine 03689 and 08 is after, this change is for 1986 MY cars, what car do you have?

Both are NLA

90 turbo. So do you feel they are physically different? As above visually they are the same but there could be subtle differences.

They could be different due to the early cars having a different turbo to the later cars.

So spot the difference - first one is 08, 2nd is 05. Maybe the angle of the pipe holder is different?

I know that on rennlist some of the guys had to modify the pipe to fit on different turbos, the pipe comes out over the turbine housing so on bigger turbos it doesn't fit and they have to extend the piece of the pipe where the banjo bolt fits.

EDIT: I also wouldn't trust that someone has used the correct part number when listing on eBay, I don't think there is a part number stamped on that pipe.

It's possible that a slightly different part fits a K26/6 (220 turbo) to the one needed for a K26/8 (250 turbo)? Not sure.

I had mine extended on my old turbo setup (now oil-cooled only), its a relatively easy modification for a welder so a repair should be equally as straightforward.
