water leak in footwell

Well Ive been driving with no carpets in the front of my 944 for a week now due to water ingress on the drivers side around the boot release area.
I have had no water coming in since the carpets were removed(several down pours) until today and it was from the passenger top corner under the dash! and only on the passenger side.
I dont understand that I have no leak so far on the drivers side and would appreciate any advice please.

BTW,, I have checked around the heater(under the plastic cover) and is all dry also the fusebox is all sealed.

I agree. Its probably the windscreen. I've got a similar problem with mine and get an intermitent leak from the wind screen. As long as I park 'nose down' the problem goes away.

I would say scfreen out clean and back in. If you find a good independant screen fitter he'll do it for around £60.

Just get new one. Iv got a brand new one on my car I'm braking, asked a screen fitter if he could swap them, and he said it wasn't worth it, would cost same as new screen. There's no gaurenty it would come out and go it whole. ???

Not sure if I was mislead.
