wanted - front cross panel for a 1965 911.

Hello,

I need a front cross panel (the front of the bonnet sits on this part) for a 1965 911 that i am currently restoring. Can anyone help? the original part number is 901 501 031 20. I have been to Porsche and it seems the cross panel has been superceded by a post-1967 part which has a flat area for the VIN plate to be riveted onto - the pre-67 models had the VIN plates near the gasoline heater compartment. I'd like to keep the car as original as possible so i want to avoid using the post-67 part.

Any help would be much appreciated.
