Im looking for a sensibly priced Boxster S, but I would dearly love to own this car:

Unfortunately, at a shade over £20,000 and located in Durban SA, itll have to remain a pipe dream.

A Boxster ! you what...........................................

I nearly bought one for a daily drive a year or so back 'in my dark times' but the kids protested heavily re the lack of seats [:D]

Shame that Cup car ids White really but since I havn't got a spare 20 grand knocking about no matter

Boxster??????... your j/k yes.....?.. big girls car... and generally not well built, especially the early cars and I won't even go into engine issues...:)

Pete

just in case some get upset I'd better state I'm half joking, would be a good car for my wife though and since a lot cheaper than my 944T a good deal could be had...:)

I nearly bought a Boxster in 2007, when they cost around ten thousand pounds. You can now buy so much more car for a good deal less and a 3.2l car would be brilliant, I think, both in terms of value and as an everyday car.

This is a carefully thought out plan, unlike last Spring when I stopped looking at 968s and came very close to buying an Arena Red 996. No one seemed to want the colour, despite it being the 993TTs colour of choice and the vendor had had reduced to it a couple of times to stimulate any interest. I also looked at a metallic blue 996 cabriolet with hard top, which would probably have left me bancrupt!

In comparison this is a smart move! [:D]

I have no intention of selling my Turbo. Im finding myself reluctant to actually do the things to it that Id intended when buying it though, as its my everyday car and Ive become quite attached to the electric windows/sunroof/electric-everything-seats. Ive even removed the Momo Prototipo and fitted the correct steering wheel!

Echo what Alasdair has said £23,000 would see it in my garage, unfortunately i have not got £23K......................SOLID INVESTMENT !
