Below are some images from this R2 event. The gardens are quite beautiful, with an interesting history, well worth the visit. Unfortunately we arrived to light rain which turned into a monumental downpour, driving many of us to take cover under the trees. This did clear quickly however, to be followed by beautiful blue skies as can be seen from the later images.
After the visit, we had lunch at the Muckhart Golf Club. In spite of prior warning, with all food pre-ordered, the venue was not ready for us. Service was slow and chaotic and the food was probably OK, but no more than that. Portions were huge however.
