Going 2 replace the small vaccum lines on my 88 250 stock turbo.
I'm going 2 renew the lines with slicone, should I get 3mm or 4mm
Use the rubber Y or get new T connectors?
Haven't had any major issues. Car seems 2 be running fine. But I did notice the rubber elbow under the throttle body was split and the line discounted. Iv pumped this back in for now using some 3.2mm washer hose.
From what I can gather from vs diagrams, that this line connects 2 a thermo valve then 2 fuel vapor purge system
But on my car what seems 2 be the thermo valve has a blank cap on one outlet. So the vacuum line runs from the throttle body stoping at the thermo valve?
Cars been used daily sense I brought it covering 3000 miles. What sort off issues would a discontent line cause?
Iv also noticed that the line between the Y branch setup Above the thermo valve comes free often. One branch off This Rubber Y is fitted 2 the banjo bolt ( which I believe has another feed on it 4 the boost gague in the dash?) it has the small blue brake booster in the other branch. The main line that feed this rubber Y come free. I will put a cable tie on it tmw.
Again what issue what a vacuum leak cause here?
If any off that makes any sense
Just been and took another look, theres no fuel purge system. Didn't think there was and explain why I was having trouble working out what was what on the digrames and should answer why theres a blank on the thermo valve?
