Urgent help please - cv joint part !!??

HI
Local garage ordered inner cv joint - doesn't fit.
Said 28 splines instead of 33 ...
Part # either 951 or 944...
Spoke with Bert Gear - he is fairly sure it is the part beginning 944
Also contacted promaxsport - waiting to hear...
All help gratefully received!!

Hi Donald,

I had a similar problem recently on my 87 Turbo. Theoretically (according to PET) it needed the cv joint with 25 tooth spline but when I took it apart I found it was a finer spline (33 teeth)

I can confirm that the part 944.331.901.00 is the one with 33 teeth and it is the one I fitted. Please note this was for an 87 turbo though.
