Hi,
I have a 996 C2 Tip and have recently upgraded the rear tyres from 265 to 285 on my Sport Design 2 rims, primarily because the existing 265s left the rims exposed to kerbing.
I now find that on smaller turns, like going hard on smaller roundabouts, I get a pronounced understeer and the front goes wide and the back doesnt come around very well. I expected this to a point but no so much.
I have M030 on order and should be fitted for Brands on Friday, would this help the problem or is there anything else I can do?
The front tyres are on their way out but I was going to change them AFTER the track day. Should I go for wider tyres on the front to iomprove the grip and balance?
Thanks,
Rob
