While wandering the web I tripped over this Pistonheads entry which suggests that the 993 was launched at Harewood house near Leeds, whereas I attended and drove the 993 on what I thought was the 993`s UK launch at Cameron House on Loch Lomond and which was recorded as such in Porsche Post at the time, as well as in the general motoring press.... Unless of course the press launch was something different from the UK launch..?
I am not on Pistonheads, however if there are members here registered there... perhaps they might explore and correct if necessary, the possible erroneous 993 data as contained via the URL below..and kindly let us know the outcome..?
