Tyres for 17inch rims

I've got some 17inch rims wearing 205/50/R17 and 255/40R17 tyres.

the tyre are fine but they aren't matched front to rear. So I was thinking to scrap them and get some really good rain tyres, UniRoyal Rainsports seem to be the ticket, but can I fit 245/45/17 on these rims ?
The fronts 205/50/17 seem omnipresecent,.
