I will need 4 new tyres shortly for my 2006 Cayman S [
], it currenty has 19" Michelins on it , been pricing up tyres and the Michelins are most expensive followed by Bridgestone / Goodyear and Pirelli . Does anyone have any advise on what might be the best choice or does it really make any difference ???

I am looking to be doing some serious milage too over the next couple of years, so I shall opt for the Michellins too. Only downside is that I am not all that keen on the 19" alloys at present, so my question would be if I were to change to say 18" or 17" would the road noise reduce somewhat ? Chris
