hi all - quick question about tracking. If a steering rack is replaced, does tracking need to be set? I had a recon rack fitted and at the same time new tie rods. They set the tracking. A while after that the recon rack started leaking so they fitted another one but did not do tracking again. Is that right? Rack seems fine now but car seems to tramline a bit especially if braking on uneven road. say there is a bit of a rut, the wheels seem to get pulled into it especially if applying brakes.

Could this be tracking needing adjusting?

Doh - there's a pattern forming here. User error again. One of the front tyres was down on pressure. Feels much better now and had allignment checked again. All fine. Time to start driving and stop worrying [:)]
