Track Days - June/July

I'm currently considering some track days for after Bedford, now that I finally have my car sorted [8D]. I thought I'd post what I was thinking, to see if anyone else is interested in joining me. Who knows, maybe we could even get a discount if there are enough of us, as I've done that before! I also have some contacts in other clubs that could possibly help make up numbers.

I appreciate that many people may want to wait and see how things go on 20th May, but I'd like to get some dates in the diary to look forward to and, obviously, the earlier we book, the better the price... Please let me know if you're keen on any of the following (I know that they are rather south-centric, but that's where I live [:D]!).

24th June - Thruxton - currently £189 All Day - Doesn't hold trackdays very often, but noise limit is a very low 90dB, so may be an issue...

28th June - Castle Combe - currently £170 All Day

2nd July - Brands Indy - £139 Evening - GT Porsche Magazine

16th July - Castle Combe - possibly £165 (this is being organised by another club, so need to ask)

I'm not going to all of these, but would like to go for one of the dates at Castle Combe and maybe one of the others as well. Thruxton is only about 15 miles up the road, so that is very tempting!

Combe is a lovely circuit, however there isn't much in the way of run-off; 6 or 7 feet of grass between the outside edge of the track and the armco in most places. Mistakes there can be very costly.
