Track day

Hi everyone,

I've recently bought a 997 C4S. I'd like to get onto a nearby track if possible to give it a run out. As I live in Dunstable, Bedfordshire - I'm not sure which track is closest. Any ideas....?

Thanks.

Bedford probably [:)] - There is a PCGB track day there on 12th August

Silverstone would also be close- I think there is a PCGB track day there on the 29th June

Hi Pete,

Thanks for the info. How/Where do I find out about these tracks and registering for the events?

Dev - go the the club main site (click the banner at the top). Click the "Motorsport" link at the top and then "Trackdays" and "Calendar". That will tell you when, where & how much.

To book, use the form in Porsche Post or call the club office.

There is also a Track Day specific sub Forum here:

http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tt.asp?forumid=59

They have the dates and booking form, plus discussions on the relative merits of each track

I don't know if this is your first track day? If so I would recommend Bedford, as it is not a circuit that holds race meetings, so there are no hard items at the side of the track to hit should you go off....

Pete
