Where is Kevin Cooke when you need him ? Doing my 1st track day in my C4 on Saturday, I need to know the right tire pressures ? Running the standard 18" wheels, with 40 profile tyres ? Any help/advice gratefully accepted.

Charlie,

Been away on bussiness in sunny Barcalona.

I assume your at Goodwood saturday as am I.

I changed wheels last night as no doubt the wife will want me to cut the grass tonight, what with Goodwood on saturday and the Monaco gp and vists to the pub to discuss botrh thats the weekend gone.

What was the question? Tyre pressures. I set mine my Pirelli Corsa' s cold at 34psi front and 36psi which may be a bit high as tomorrow is going to be hot. I think after the first run the left hand tyres will be well over 40 rears maybe closer to 45, so I' ll play with presurres during the day.

See you tomorrow.

Charlie,

Just read my own mail and it ddn' t make sense.

So to repeat.

34 front 36 rear cold.

Expect to have to reduce pressures during the day to keep below 40 all round when hot.

Kevin
