Track brake pads

I changed out my stock pads for Ferodo DS3.12 pads after the stock pads left deposits on my steel discs after track use. This resulted in vibration when braking at around 70mph.

I sanded the deposits from the discs when changing to the DS3.12's & applied Ceratec at the hardwear contact points. Bedded in etc & this completely resolved the vibration issue.
However the squeal is annoying with these pads, albeit the performance on track is good.

I'm probably searching for the Holy Grail of brake pads but I'd like a pad that performs well on track but doesn't squeal like a pig.
I'm considering putting my stock pads back in but will likely end up with pad deposits on the discs again.

Any recommendations for combined use pads that don't sound awful at low speed stops?

I'm not sure such a compound exists, even my stock pads squealed in warm weather for the first 2000miles then weren't too bad.

Maybe the DS2500 compound would be better. The DS3.12 compound is more of a race suitable compound and less easy to get to full operating temperature.

Thanks, I'll look into those & welcome any other suggestions too.

I suppose it's a trade off as I need good stopping power for trackdays, but if there is something out there that doesn't wake the dead & still performs its worth a try.

I'm running PFC .331 and .332 pads , along with their discs, front and rear. When new they did squeal a bit, but they got better after the first track day. A few more track days in and they're virtually silent on road now. I track around 5-6 days a year and cover around 2-3k on road all year round.

I find them superb, so worth looking into for your use.

Thanks, I will look into those too.

I think I may have chatted to you at Cadwell at the club trackday if yours was the Yellow GT4 with the Manthey upgrades.
