Towbar for 911 SC!!!

Just in case anyone is interested, there is a towbar for a 911 SC for sale on Ebay

I think I now need a lie down, who would put a towbar on any 911?[]

What would could you possibly want to tow with a 911?[8|]

err bet it was for a jet ski!

Used to spend a lot of time at the beach and remember a few unlikely cars towing (early Golf GTI, MR2, MGB, BMW 3 series coupe) but NEVER a 911. Hey maybe someone out there should come clean and send in some piccies.....

We camped at the Brands Festival & there was a 3.2 Targa towing a caravan! []
Not that small a caravan either!!

Everyone to their own I suppose but I really feel the guy was missing the point of a 911!! [8|]

Strange, I've been toying with the idea of putting a kitchen sink in the back of my 911. It would be handy when you go places, cause then you'd have everything including the kitchen sink!
Still there's always a Thule box on the roof... what a top idea... and you could mount a CB antenna as well... then put those parking spring wires out the rear that hit the kerb when reversing.
How about huge mudflaps as well ... with HUGE red refelctors>>>?
A real top idea would be to have steel wheels with those plastic clip-on wheel trims... now... just imagine that ...
A 911 with a box on the roof, huge antenna, mudflaps, plastic wheel rims... we could go on .
Anyone good at doing a drawing?
Why not just by a voxhaul or a fraud triesta? Ther'e all great cars.. for making heavy wieghts on the end of a ship's anchor rope.

well I e-mailed the guy and asked him in a very pleasant manner about the history of his tow bar to see if further information could be elicited for gernal consumption/ interest/ merriment. However to date (3 weeks at least and counting) I have had no reply. Perhaps he thought we would take the p**s!
