Just checked with OPC and Porsche front suspension Top Mounts are £252 + VAT each!

Anyone know of cheaper alternatives, OEM or aftermarket?

Thanks
Edd

A couple of questions for you:

Do you definitely need to change these ?

Do you want to stay OPC ?

If yes, then No, I would recommend the Lyndsey racing or similar sold top mounts. They'll a big difference to how the car feels and will be half the price of OPC.

Dont know yet, just getting some prices. Need to have a look but not sure how to tell if they are shot.

Not at that price!

Thanks.

I found cheaper for my LUX, I'll have a dig through my receipts tomorrow and see if I can find where I got them from.

Found it.

£185 for both!

However (1) this was for a LUX and (2) doesn't look like they have any for sale at present - however give them a call they have them specially made - I remember him being a really friendly chap and ended up having a long chat on the phone!

I should still have a set of those somewhere, took them off my race car during the build in order to keep the car to PCGB club champ regs. ISTR they did cost me about 100 quid a pair three or four years ago or so but I am sure they are much more expensive now.

I was going to post this yesterday evening, but my router had a turn. The SAR parts will have come from these people; and before sterling crashed, they cost about £100 a pair.

Cool! Top work man, probably could have saved myself a little money if I'd known that!! Ah well.
Although if price has risen, then there's still a saving of £30 to have.

Their price plus package $249.90 = £154 roughly

How about these? they're camber adjustable too, £77 a pair plus £43 P&P to the UK.

I had the KLA/SAR solid top mounts fitted last year. TBH, I think they're just a bit too hard for road use. I'll probably switch back to standard top mounts at some point.
