tip of the week

had a slight issue with the wipers on the 968 lifting above 80mph (on private roads[;)]) and leaving a bit of screen (right in front of my face) unswept.

finally remembered to pop into my local Halfords, (and after negotiating the 22" chromed wheels for Novas, music systems designed purely to rupture internal organs with low frequencies and assorted groups of spotty herberts wearing burberry caps getting excited about flashing neon gearsticks [:D]) and purchased a set of Mr Bosch's finest new wipers.

best £25 ever spent - drivers side has a new car style aerodynamically sorted arm above the blade which keeps it on the screen at high speeds. drove through some appalling weather at the weekend and the difference was fantastic

can highly recommend a change if you have not done yours for a while..

i promise it increases your driving pleasure disproportionately compared to expenditure[:)]

btw i don't work for Bosch!!

Cheapskate tip: when replacing the spoiler wipers, buy the non-spoiler variety and transfer the old spoilers to the new wipers.
