I want to have my windows tinted.
Does anyone know what the current regulations are an how strobgly they are enforced?
Does tinting affect driving at night or on the track?
Regards

Jan Tintacar 020 8575 3523 www.tintacar.co.uk can bring you up to speed but they did the front side windows on my MINI Cooper S to match the factory rears. They can't go as dark on fronts because of law changes last August but they are very close match.[8D]
Driving at night is fine no bad effects to worry about as long as you take your shades off [8D]
Unless I lived in the tropics I, personally, would avoid them. I travelled in the back of an M-Class Merc recently, on a dull day, with the so called 'privacy glass'. It was down right oppressive. I had to lower the window to let some light in.
Also, depending on what car it is fitted to, it could dent the re-sale value. You might get away with it on a Mini Cooper, but not on a 996 - unless you were selling it to a drug dealer.
