Question from a member with a truculent Turbo...

I'm getting very frustrated about finding a solution to the crank shaft sensor problem. The latest saga is that I purchased a MSD 6530 electronic distributor.
The independent Porsche specialist in Banbury has had the car for months and after several broken promises my car is yet to be worked on. Can you please recommend anyone in the Oxfordshire/Berkshire area who can do the work please?
Actually I will take the car to wherever it can be fixed – nationally
Kind regards
Noel Mantock

Noel,hi if you pm Mike Calvert (user name Figment) I am sure that is the one he had fitted to his car (featured in Porsche World the other month). I know it is tunable via laptop as his is going into local guy near Wellingborough to be fine tuned this week.

A lot of us at R19 use Northway at Beenham (between Reading and Newbury). They have been working on transaxle cars for 25 years or so (but also do latest models). My 944 S2 has been looked after by them for the 11 yrs I've had it...very happy.

Hi. Fitted the Mittel Motors distributor with assistance of Chris. Clarke motor at Weedon, Northants. 01327 340279.
All the guys at Mittel speak good English
have not been able connect the tuning software from Mittel To my laptop . The disie is easy to set up in the normal way
Happy to help
