Well, after more than 12 years of 994 ownership, the last 8 with my superb 944S2, I am afraid that I have finally sold the car and moved on, or perhaps sideways, or even, some would say, backwards.
Fortunately, all is not lost as I have remained loyal to the Marque and bought another Porsche. It is one of those funny ones with the engine at the wrong end and relying on air rather than water to keep it cool, and perhaps it was a Friday afternoon car as someone seems to have forgotten to put a roof on it. Yes, I am now the proud owner of a 993 Cabriolet and I just hope that I get as much fun and companionship from and through it as I did with the 944s.
If anyone is looking for a really good 944S2 with 97,000 miles, a full service history, new belts and timing chains, refurbished brakes and callipers, full 12,000 service to be carried out before handover, and continue to hopefully do well at PCGB regional concours if that's your thing, then you should contact Darren Anderson at RPM of Cheddington who will be selling the car. Obviously having sold the car to RPM, I have nothing more to do with it but will be pleased to answer any questions that a prospective purchaser may have about its time during my ownership.
I have really enjoyed being a 'member' of the Titanic Forum since soon after its introduction, and this 944 Forum (not that I have posted much as I only read them once a day) and have met some really interesting fellow owners both literally at functions and virtually on the forums. I will continue to read all the posts and wish everyone well for the future and thanks.
Regards,
