Evening All

Seems like ages since I last posted on here.

Following the success of the last meet at this pub, how about a follow up so that some more regulars can take a look with a view to a move away from the Bird in Hand? While the BiH has advantages, it is a bit small inside in the winter and the menu is a bit limited. I gather the Crown has a room we can use and a big car park. I look forward to trying the beer...

The other James was going to enquire about the room to see if we could retain it for £200 a year, but just as easily we can go again on the 20th, and do the talking ourselves.

I'm hearing that in the summer The Crown may just be too busy for us to use as our regular venue. Definitely still on for 20th Feb though and we'll take it from there.

Sounds like a good idea James...I'll try to make it. Checked the lunch menu on their website, and it looks good (never want a full blown meal that early on a Sunday!!)
 
I'd like to come along too. I've not attended a Regional event yet, although I have done a couple of 993-related events.

Noon onwards Christian. I imagine we'll be done by 3pm or whenever they chuck out after lunch.
