The best Porsche ever produced!!

Time for a new pole, I think.
What, in your opinion, is the best car that Porsche has ever produced? This needn' t (shouldn' t!) necessarily be the car that you currently drive. It might be interesting to hear a few comments as to why you think the model you have chosen is the best.
I look forward to hearing your views, both rational and controversial!!!
Oh, and I only have space on the pole for 10 model derivatives, so apologies if I' ve missed out your favourite.

Well, you missed the popular mid-engined cars off to start with!

How about amalgamating some of those 911 derivatives? You might find a bit of space for the other models then? (After all, you cover a pretty wide sweep with the 924/928/944/968 option!

Fair point. Have tweaked the poll slightly!
Thanks for pointing out that glaring ommission!!

It's got to be the early 911 (I admit I have one [;)]).

It's conceivable that the others wouldn't exist if it hadn't been a success.

Fair point.
I have a 944 Turbo, but given the opportunity, I would have a 3.2 Carrera. I love the styling and the engine noise is just awesome!! [:D]

Hi Derek, Well I' m gonna be completely obvious and say 3.2 Carrera SSE[:D] It is awesome to drive, look at, sit in, has a better pair of hips than J-Lo and doesn' t bitch back either![;)]

By the way, Will you stop deleting my old posts[] I' ll never get my handbag at this rate[&:]

Hi Nicola, Got my pictures back from p in the p and have one of your car if you would like it?

It' s got to be the 964. It kept the 911 theme alive & was a big step for Porsche, bringing them a " modern" 911 that could keep up with cars that had been developed much later than the 911 was.
