Thank You Region 5

As the year draws to a close, the time has come for me to step down from the Region 5 organising committee. With this in mind, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Matt Staines and Allan Crosby before him for giving me the opportunity to serve Region 5.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Matt and his fabulous hardworking team to put on events and activities for our members over the years, in particular some of the Zoom meetings during those long and drawn out days over lockdown, our day out in the Peak District driving some fabulous roads and visiting Mellors Elliot Motorsport and the Great British Car Journey en route and probably most of all, our fabulous R5 trip to the Classic Le Mans event in 2022.

However, all good things must come to an end and the time is right for me to hand over to someone else, to help Matt and the team take things forward.

I would like to thank all of you for your friendship, support and encouragement over the years and wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024 and I look forward to continuing to support Matt and the team by taking part as an active member of our fabulous region.

Hi Dan,
I hope that you are well and that all is good with you and your fabulous Cayman GTS.
I have only stepped down from the organising committee, and am intending to remain in the club as an active member for the time being.
