Taycan tyre wear

hello club members, i am after some advice, my car recently went in for a service and MOT and they pointed out that one of the front tyres would fail the mot, they measured the tread depth in three places inside, outside and middle All reported 5mm of tread, but the shocking part was on the inside edge you could see the cords in places. Porsche told me this was common as the car lowers when you drive it putting the wheel alignment out...!!! the car tracks in a perfect straight line, does not pull to either side and i do not drive it hard.

Thoughts please, is this just a garage trying to fob me off, as they did the alignment four months earlier...! or is this a thing..?

Sounds like the toes is out. Did you have the service and MOT done at an OPC? I'd get a geo done specifically for the Taycan model you have, that should allow for the lower suspension. Your OPC should be able to do this for you but it most probably won't be cheap.
