I parked next to this whilst I am sure it will divide opinion, guy who owns it has done a lot of the work himself and is making some parts of available, forgot the exact price but front splitter seemed quite reasonable and good quality, well finished underneath as well (2 part mould) unlike some, I quite liked the rear under spoiler treatment as well, think it might look good in a more subtle colour and maybe a slightly toned down style. Generally I think Lambo door conversions should be reserved for Gallardos but these looked solidly done - have seen saxos etc where they wobble badly in the wind! they certainly add theatre.
If anyone is interested - Website is www.evolution9.co.uk and is pretty basic contact is enquiries@evolution9.co.uk - he did stress that quality of FG/carbon parts was very important to him, and they can make pretty much anything you/we want.

The car was originally a write off so it could have ended up being broken, was interesting being beside it as it certainly divided opinion from wow to oh dear!

It's certainly well put-together, and IMO a really good way to save an otherwise scrap car. My first thought, when it drove in to Porsche and Polo, was that I hoped it was in the concours! [:D]

Quality is great, I think it's the best badge panel I've seen yet.

Wow [:D]. Not a big fan of the doors and the bonnet vents not to my taste (perhaps better if they were orange) but other than that I like it. The beetle on the other side of yoru cab looks pretty tasty too!

If someone described the car to me Id have said "That car will be horrendous"

Well I saw it at the RAC and its very very good quality... Well done to that man.... ! A lot of work and craftsmanship went into it and its definately not a "Barryboys" . Different yes and not to everybodys taste but well thought out and put together !

Does any of it actually work ?, Looks like some tyre stretching there too.

Doors open and close, vents are open so probably do something - its an S2 though so no IC - some people drill the airbox though, Splitter possibly - probably more than the ones with the unfinished underneath, additions to rear splitter who knows?
Tony

edited to add - I think the tyre stretching is an illusion created by the rim protectors

Well I liked the front splitter and badge panel and....erm...Well I liked those two bits...
I'm with Jon, but I didn't like the front splitter.

The kid in me loves the lambo doors, want them for my Pug plus some rear head restraints with built in tv/monitors pointing backwards[:D]

Thanks for all the comments, I realise its not everyones cup of tea.............but I wanted something different for little money, and it gets noticed, whether I want it or not! For the person interested in the front spoiler/splitter I'm selling them at £399.00 on ebay as my website is not finish yet.

Its only the second Porsche event I've gone too because I've only now become a PCGB member since March....too busy trying to get this project car finished. The wheels are 255/40 17" on rears and 215/45 17" on the front and yes I had to cut the rear arches and flare them so it looked proper, still need the change the rear shocks to adjustable ones as it canstill scrub a bit when you go a bit hard in to a corner.

Any way Im always interested in any feed back good or bad. Perhaps some of you can suggest what you would like produced GRP wise

regards

Paddy

Great job, looks good to me.......................only thing I can add is I really do think it would look superb if all done on a tintop 944, well done.

PS: I like the standard turbo rear splitter but think the toast rack is better looking so yours is a great compromise.

It really doesn't matter a hoot if its not everyones cup of tea, the 944 community is a broad church and its great to see any and all enthusiasts enjoying these great cars whatever their priorities and tastes - Welcome to our happy little forum, hope you enjoy your stay ! [:)]

Front splitter looks fine and the rear would be better without the outer angled fins IMO, the doors though do not do it for me but i appreciate the work put into the car.................i like orange !

Scotty would have smashed his house up by now and be sat whimpering in a corner frothing at the mouth !
