Taking your porsche apart... part 1

Can anyone tell me how to swap over the handbrake lever?

I've got a new one coming in the post, and I was hoping to fit it this weekend.

I recall that I took mine apart in my 924S, and as I recall it was fairly straightforward an logical. I assume the 968 is much the same. Glued-in carpets are a swine though!

question however - is the new one from an opc? & how much was it??

No, it's from a breakers. Apparently it's "As new" condition, and it was 40 notes. My local OPC wanted 160+vat for a new one!

If the one I'm being sent turns out to be in "distinctly used" condition, then I might think about a new one, but I'm not sure it's worth paying that much jst to "tidy up" the cabin.
