I got the gears from porscheshop but I'm told OPC are about 1/5 of the price!
It's a very easy job to remove the trim piece on the roof and expose where the lifter arms meet the gears, then remove the plastic covers over the gears. Probably a load of plastic teeth will fall out!
Make sure you follow the instructions to line up the arms in the 'locked' position and check the torque of the slip clutch on the motor. The limit switches that control the amount of tilt (and the motor) are on the passenger side of the boot under the boot light.
Mine was lifting unevenly as one side of the morse wire tube had came away from it's mounting under the rear cover, some strategically placed strong cable ties sorted that one and has been fine.
