Sunday run out suggestions for future

John has done a great job in planning runs for the third Sunday of the month.

During last year, I enjoyed a couple of Sundays (or Saturdays?) at Shelsley Walsh and Curborough watching the Porsche Speed Championship.

Would anyone be interested in making one of the Sundays runs a trip to the Porsche Championship, when near to the Midlands ? Does anyone on here know anyone in the Championship we could link up with a support for the day etc...

Any other ideas for days (Saturday or Sunday) out at the races etc?

You can hire Curborough for the afternoon for testing for not a lot. It is limited to 5 cars but works out OK. Not long but it is good for finding limits in relative safety. If anyone is interested I'm up for it (post March it's full of sheep until then)

[FONT=Trebuchet MS"]Shelsley Walsh isnt too far, but i do find those things a bit stayed, hell i dont wanna watch i wanna take part...life too short to watch, lets do...you want to of course[;)] Curborough seem more like it Ian, Any one going to Vmax this year? Bruntingthorpe ? Cheers

fancy the Speed Challenge John?...I'm waiting with baited breath to see the fixture list and decide whether I should enter!? I'll go and look up Curborough but I've also got the costings and opportunity for a day at either millbrook or that other testing place with Richard Attwood with some of the guys in the 964RS+....skid pan stuff to get to know when the car lets go and how best to deal with it....so there's another option!

[FONT=Trebuchet MS"]Already booked in at Millbrook, and DERA for both Porsche run experiences, but Speed Challenges are not for me mate, ive seen to many casualties at Shelsley and at Santa Pod, the car is too heavy for all malarky any ways. Cheers

did you notice the Oulton post in GT3 & 964RS......I just booked and there was a great gang last year apparently?

There has been a thread elsewhere trying ( and failing [;)] ) to organise a run round Brecon Beacons.
Anyone here interested in a full day out ? :
9.00 start Quatford :Brecon is 2 hour A-road drive from the Quatford meeting point .
11.00 :Bacon butty and coffee in Brecon
11.30 :120 mile tour of the Brecons ( 2.5 hours ? )
2.00 : Lunch back in Brecon. ( or picnic half-way round ??? )
3.00 : Head back to Quatford cross-country or hit the M50 and M5 if preferred .

Something like this

Yes .

I am trying to organise a Scenic Run / Treasure Hunt with John Lord (R9&13 RO) for Sunday 12th June. Start point would be Shelsey Walsh taking in Worcestershire, Shropshire & Herefordshire with a lunch stop about half way. Total mileage would be just over 100. Nothing is firm yet but I hope to hear soon, I know that the 12th is not the 3rd Sunday but as they say all are welcome.

I'm up for the Breacon run, when are we going?
If you are going to organise something for June , i suggest April or May for the Brecon run if there is enough interest .
There was a feeling that it may be a little far for just a day out , but i'll be up for it as soon as the six is back on the road.
Let's get this month sorted first though [;)]

April is looking best for me, don't forget there is the Frontrunner & Cotswold Rally the first two Sundays in May & the last one is another bank holiday weekend complete with extra Sunday drivers taking their car out for a walk :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
