Just a reminder that we are having our first unch and drive of the year on Sunday 8th June.

Meet at Cartford Arms, Cartford Lane, Little Eccleston, Nr Poulton-le-Fylde. We have an area reserved for us until 12.30 hours. Lunch and bar snacks are available.

Following lunch we will have a short scenic drive into the Lancaster area for afternoon tea.

I spoke to the landlord - Patrick - last night and he is reserving a parking area for us as well.
The car park is at the rear.

Just out of interest david....is an unch like the lancashire version of a haggis ? [:D]
 
Yes - but its much tastier.
It has meat, potatoes, carrots and onions in it.

It's called Lancashire Hot Pot!!

We also have another one, made much the same way with a lovely crust on its called

'Tater Pie and really yummy
