Storage space in the Cayman S

I didn't really spend any time looking around the inside of the Cayman S on my test drive. What storage spaces are there? Is there a space for a Porsche umbrella next to the passenger seat? Also, how warm does the cabin due to the engine being in the middle of the car? Does the A/C have to work hard?
