Steering angle sensor

I have a 996 carrera 4 convertible 2000 and I keep getting the ABS & PSM light come on. I have my own diagnostic tool which when contacted says its the steering angle sensor. I clear the fault but as soon as I drive about 100 yds it comes back on, sometimes when the lights come on I get a shake on the steering.
If I get it collaborated it's OK for a few days the comes on again. I obviously have a fault somewhere possible with a sensor don't know where.
Can anyone pleased help
 
i had this problem with my 996 c4 cabriolet about 7 years ago. Ended up with replacing the steering angle sensor. It resolved the issue and not had any problems since.
