Unless there’s a specific problem with the starter motor or the ignition switch, it sounds like it could be an intermittent micro-switch Bill. Brake pedal, gear selector or handbrake … who knows?🙄

Best to get some decent Porsche-specific diagnostics on the case to get some guidance.

Thanks Jeff Have used WD 40 on ignition Will remove centre console and check handbrake/Auto selector. Thanks for the Tip on the Footbrake, forgot about this Appreciated Bill

 
So my 1999 Boxster occasionally fails to Spin over when I turn the Key. No Starter Motor Click, Nada !

Handbrake off and on. Shift from Park to Neutral and somehow it seems to work ?

Any ideas

Will get an ODBC to see if it shows anything ?
